Iodine
Lugol’s Iodine was invented by the French scientist Jean Lugol in 1829. Lugol’s Iodine is an aqueous solution of potassium iodide and iodine. “Aqueous solution” simply means that water is the medium for the iodine. It contains iodine and potassium iodide. The body will use different forms for different purposes.
